Carmella Granado

Coaching specializations: Leadership | Career | Life Coaching

Carmella Granado draws upon 25 years of experience in the high-tech world of systems, manufacturing operations, forward logistics and relationship management to provide clients with the support, understanding and energy they need to make dramatic shifts in their lives. Her expertise includes large-scale cultural transitions and reoganization, contract negotiation, building alliances and co-creative innovation.

An artist at heart, Carmella’s creativity and intuitive sense combines with her rational, analytical thinking in a straightforward, yet compassionate style. She sees her role as coach as a ‘talking partner’ to assist her clients in achieving the insights that generate aligned action, and thus outcome. As demanding as her career in high tech has been, she has always carved out time to continue her life-long commitment to healing on all levels and wholeness in her spiritual life. That process has taken her deep into the Brazilian Amazon jungle and to the mountain tops learning Native American ways. Her belief in the innate creativity of everyone led her to facilitate workshops based on Julia Cameron’s “The Artist’s Way.” “It is the core human condition to yearn for wholeness and connectedness, and there is no contradiction between that desire and being incredibly successful functioning in a fast-paced high-tech world. Who knew?” she laughs.

Carmella’s corporate work allows her to travel extensively, something she loves. When she’s not traveling, or coaching she “turns down the volume” of life by gardening, gourmet cooking, remodeling her home and esoteric studies.

Sydney’s history as both a counselor and a trainer provides a solid foundation for her work as a Life Coach. Her education includes a master’s degree in clinical psychology, hypnotherapy training, and an advanced certificate in Transformational Life Coaching. Sydney’s professional style blends proven coaching strategies with compassion, wisdom, humor and warmth, as she continually strives to better embody her spiritual truths.

Your Extraordinary Journey

Can you imagine a life where every moment holds the promise of excitement, every event is a possible adventure, every interaction a meaningful connection? I hold that vision—both for me and for you. If you can imagine the same, it would be my great pleasure to accompany you on the next leg of your extraordinary Journey to Wholeness.

Life Transitions

Any transition—be it marriage or divorce, birth or empty nest, a new job or retirement, any beginning or ending—brings both opportunity and loss. Accepting the loss and allowing yourself to grieve is an essential first step. Then you will be more able to view the transition as a chance to do life differently, to take a road you hadn’t taken before, to create something truly unique in your life.

Self-Acceptance

This is the best and only way that I know for reclaiming aspects of yourself that have been judged as not-good-enough. Self-acceptance eliminates the inner battle between your judge and your victimized self. What emerges is the you who knows what she wants and how to appreciate it. It’s really that simple. I have worked in this area for many years and witnessed countless transformations.

Talks and Workshops

In addition to her life coaching work, Sydney is available to speak to your group or present a workshop on the specializations listed above.

What clients have to say about Sydney’s coaching:

“After working with Sydney, it really helped me open my eyes to who I am and what I can do to have a better relationship with myself.”

“I thought I would call you, Sydney, to tell you how happy I am.”

“There is something about how you communicate that I never felt judged and I always felt accepted.”

Quote

“Each time you judge yourself, you break your own heart.” —Swami Kripalvananda

Sydney’s Poetry

Better Fly, Butterfly

Better Fly, Butterfly, now is the time.
Your wings are closed
so no one knows
the vibrant colors you hide.

Better Fly, Butterfly, now is the time.
Waiting’s a net,
don’t let it get
you caught up inside.

Better Fly, Butterfly, now is the time
to spread your wings
and do all those things
you’ve never even tried.

Better Fly, Butterfly, now is the time.
Or else you may
find that “someday”
somehow, just never arrived.
